About this medicine

Clavam 625 mg Tablet एक combination antibiotic है, जिसमें Amoxicillin और Clavulanic Acid शामिल होते हैं। Amoxicillin एक penicillin-type antibiotic है। यह संवेदनशील बैक्टीरिया की cell wall बनने की प्रक्रिया को बाधित करके उन्हें खत्म करने में मदद करता है। Clavulanic Acid कुछ बैक्टीरिया द्वारा बनाए जाने वाले beta-lactamase enzymes को रोकता है। ये enzymes Amoxicillin को निष्क्रिय कर सकते हैं। Clavulanic Acid इस प्रभाव को रोककर कुछ बैक्टीरिया के खिलाफ Amoxicillin की प्रभावशीलता बढ़ाता है। यह दवा केवल उन bacterial infections में प्रभावी होती है जिनके खिलाफ यह combination उपयुक्त है। यह सामान्य सर्दी, फ्लू या अन्य viral infections का इलाज नहीं करती।

  • 1. Penicillin Allergy

  • 2. Kidney Disease

  • 3. Liver Disease
  • लिवर की बीमारी या पहले Amoxicillin-Clavulanate लेने से jaundice या liver problems होने का इतिहास हो तो डॉक्टर को बताएं।

  • गर्भावस्था में इस दवा का उपयोग केवल डॉक्टर के मूल्यांकन और सलाह पर करें।
  • 5. Breastfeeding

  • 6. Other Medicines
  • यदि आप blood thinners, Methotrexate, Allopurinol, Probenecid या अन्य दवाएँ लेते हैं, तो डॉक्टर को बताएं। कुछ दवाओं के साथ interactions संभव हैं।
  • 7. Severe Diarrhea
  • यदि गंभीर या लगातार दस्त हों, खासकर खून के साथ, तो तुरंत डॉक्टर से संपर्क करें। इसे सामान्य antibiotic side effect समझकर अनदेखा न करें।
  • 8. Viral Infections
  • सामान्य सर्दी, फ्लू या viral fever में इसे स्वयं शुरू न करें। Antibiotics वायरस पर काम नहीं करतीं।
  • 9. Children and Older Adults
  • बच्चों की खुराक उम्र और वजन के अनुसार निर्धारित की जाती है। 625 mg वाली adult tablet बच्चे को स्वयं न दें। बुजुर्गों में kidney function और दूसरी दवाओं की जाँच महत्वपूर्ण हो सकती है।

How to store it

Clavam 625 mg Tablet को सही तरीके से सुरक्षित रखना जरूरी है। सामान्यतः इसे ठंडी और सूखी जगह पर, सीधी धूप और नमी से दूर रखें। 25°C से कम तापमान बच्चों और पालतू जानवरों की पहुँच से दूर रखें। Expiry date निकलने के बाद दवा का उपयोग न करें। टूटी, गीली या खराब दिखाई देने वाली टैबलेट इस्तेमाल न करें। बची हुई antibiotic को किसी अन्य व्यक्ति को न दें और उसका निपटान फार्मासिस्ट या स्थानीय निर्देशों के अनुसार करें।
